Aug 23, 2017 It works okay but it is wired to my backup lights and there is a slight delay and I have to press the app each time to connect. I then got the 7" color monitor with 2 video imputs $26 and another camera $6 and a set of wireless transmitter/receivers for $10. Have the camera looking thru the tinted back window and plugged into the 12v plug.

I have used one of the super cheap wireless adapters to connect a cheap camera to a monitor on the dash of a 36" motor home for a number of years and it has was pretty reliable. The image was low def and not always perfect, but, good enough to back into a camp site. One failed after a couple of years but, they are easy enough to replace.

Jan 29, 2024 I have put on 2 different RV's cheap wifi wireless cameras that work on android phones or tables. Cost about $20. My rig is 28 ft long. They are not as convenient as a backup camera that comes on when you put it in reverse because you have to have the app running on the tablet, but I don't need or use it very often ( don't back up often ) .
