Open the SmartThings app on your phone, and then tap Menu. Tap All devices, and then select your TV/projector. An on-screen remote will appear in the app. The options available on the remote will vary depending on the device. The volume and channel controls work the same way they would on a normal remote.

Jul 9, 2019 Im using SmartThings on a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 phone, and a Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 Tablet. How on earth is using a phone/tablet keyboard in SmartThings NOT an optional. It actually seems intentional. The TV doesnt have bluetooth either, so I cant even connect a keyboard via bluetooth. Please fix this soon.
